Foundation Judoka who normally attend on a Thursday will be graded this evening.
Most judoka who have trained regularly at a number of sessions should be ready to ‘do a grading‘.
- Red & White Belts have 6 steps to complete before they can be awarded a Blue & White Belt.
- Blue & White Belts have 3 steps before being considered for promotion to the Junior Mat.
Foundation Gradings are fairly informal (not as scary as you think they might be) and might even be fun.
If parents are unsure whether their child is ready to be graded up a level please speak to Sensei Sam, Alex or Barney who will discuss and advise you.
Whether grading or not it is still good experience to attend this session. Depending on the number of children being graded this session might run over time, if you have to leave promptly at 7:15 please let Sensei Sam, Alex or Barney know.
