Basic Self-Defence

venue: Blackwater Leisure Centre

time: 10.30 to 12.30

cost; £3.50.

This is for adults (over 16’s only- a later event is being arranged for under 16’s) be they judoka, parents, friends or family.

This session will be run by Sempei Simon Carter who has plenty of experience in teaching and applying practical self-defence techniques.

You will not need to know how to break fall, you will not be expected to do anything you feel uncomfortable with; you will come away with a better awareness of how to look after your self.

BOOK YOUR PLACE NOW with Jane (this should be a popular event and numbers do have to be restricted) .

Turn up on the day wearing comfortable, loose clothing preferably without buttons or zips and something that it does not matter if it gets pulled about.

Short skirts, stiletto heels and tight fitting low cut tops may be what you might wear on a night out but are not ideal for practicing basic self-defence
