This will start with a brief explanation of the different levels of Mat Officials, explaining how judoka and non-judoka can help to ensure the smooth running of club events.

Depending on how long the discussion element of who does what takes, there will also be some opportunity for practical ‘mat control.’

This is open to any club member (judoka and non-judoka) over the age of 13 and will last about an hour.

All Seniors over Blue belt and especially Dan grades should attend even if they prefer to avoid refereeing!
