 Blackwater Judo Club (Maldon)

We are an Independent Judo Organisation – affiliated to Essex Boys and Girls Clubs

Welcome back from your Summer break and look forward to seeing you all back to Judo Thursdays and/or Saturdays.

We have a lot planned for the coming year of which one is the extremely special occassion of Marc Powell Judo Paraolympian who will not only be visiting us on Thursday 15th September to collect a donation organised by Maddie Scott, but will be honoring our club by coming on the mat and taking part. To ensure we utilise Marc’s time well I would like this to be a joint junior and adult mat,
This IS truly an honour and something that doesn’t happen everyday to any club so make sure you and all friends of Blackwater Judo Club come along on Thursday 15th September at Blackwater Leisure Centre, Maldon, Essex to take part. It is planned for the press to be present.
To make it even more interesting, we would like to have prepared a set of questions from you we can ask Marc; so put your thinking caps on and submit your questions either by comment on this page or to either David Scott or Sensei Sam Harrington.
PLEASE SUPPORT US ON THIS EVENING COMMENCING 6:15pm SHARP AND REMEMBER TO GIVE IN YOUR ‘THROW FOR THROW’ SPONSORSHIP MONEY AT THE NEXT JUDO SESSION  TO JANE. AS BASED ON WHAT YOU RAISE, THE CLUB WILL ALSO MAKE A SUITABLE DONATION.
Cut and paste this link to see the interview with Marc.
